I went to the doctors today and they said he'll be here soon. My contractions are getting really strong and I am super uncomfortable all the time.

This is what my foot looked like the first time I screwed it up during this prenancy. That took three weeks to heal. Since then I have sprained my ankle twice on the same foot. It has been a month now. It is still not better. My ankle looks like a tennis ball is attached under the skin at the end of most days now. All I can really do it ice it. I don't think it is going to get better until after the baby comes and I get the extra weight off me. Hurts amd keeps me up! Sucks!

It is hard being a working mom. I have been working 6 days a week since Dec 1st. My hubby and I bought a business and are keeping it busy. William come to work with me just about everyday. He has his own littel play area and next we are building a nursery for him and our new little guy coming. We are growing into a busy little family.

He loves all the animals. He was trying to pet the chickens but they were too fast for him. He was able to pet the ducks.

William is cutting FOUR new teeth! One is a BIG MOLAR! Poor little guy had a hard night last night. He is having a tough day today too. He just cries and screams and curls up in the fetal position then throws himself back. I have had to give him baby tylenol 4 times in the past 24 hours. I hate seeing him suffer. He has been grabbing his jaw and chewing his fingers. :(

I hope my little guy feels better soon.

I MADE HIM A TRIPLE LAYER CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH GHIRIDELLI CHOCOLATE....OOOOOOOHHHHH YUUUUMMMMM. EVERYONE LOVED IT.

Can you believe our little guy is going to turn ONE already? I can't! It has been the fastest year of my life - that is for sure!

I am sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have had a problem with my computer. I have sooooo soooo soooo many pictures on it that it will not allow me to upload any more. So we have recently purchased an external hard drive and have been uploading the pics there. This morning I finally found some time to check to make sure those photos are actually saved on the external so that I can erase them off the computer's harddrive.

So there is my tale.... And my excuse for being out of touch.

Life is good. William Walter will be eleven months on the 14th. He is growing like a weed and does all sorts of "tricks" now... :) He waves, claps his hands, and does twinkle twinkle little star in sign language, throws up his hands when we say horay... He is running for a few steps now. After those few steps, he falls then pretends he meant to by picking up the nearest toy and getting up and walking away with it. :)

I have taken some great pics and video... that will be up soon.

Here are some pictures of William Walter's first trip to Disneyland....Crusin' with grandpa was a fun ride...Grandma and Daddy spoiled me. We went on lots of boat rides...they were cool.

There were lots of rides for little guys like me.

There were lots of crazy charaters to see.

It's a Small World was AWESOME! I loved it!

I did a lot of talking that day.

Grandma and Grandpa bought me a Mickey Mouse.

It got late too fast.

Milestones

William Walter turned 9 months old last Thursday. As an extra special treat we took him to Disneyland....pictures to come. Here is my Big Boy standing on his own... he started walking at 8 months ... just a few steps on his own... now he can take a dozen before he tumbles.

Thank God for Security Gates... we have three of them!

Here he is really mad.... he doesn't want to eat baby food much anymore... he wants to try lots of new foods and perfers to feed himself... trouble is he doesn't get much in his mouth... but we let him try. Sometimes he hardly lets us put the food in his mouth. LOL!

Tumbleweed is still keeping post. She does a great job protecting her little brother. Though she is a little nervous about how well he can get around now.

He has 7 teeth now and is working on getting some more.

He makes his Momma proud and keeps her very busy.

Yummy Hot Dip Recipe

One of our nighbors made this for Super Bowl Sunday.... It was sooooooo good... I got the recipe from her to share with you all.

Barb's Articoke Dip

1 8 oz cream cheese, softened or whipped

1 cuo mayo

1/2 cup parmasen cheese

1 sm can chopped jalepanoes

1 8 oz marinated articokes, chopped

mix all, bake @ 350 degrees, 20 minutes or until hot in 8X8 dish.

Serve on bagget slices.

Here are some pretty sunset shots I took a couple weeks back.

UPDATE: After taking William Walter to the doctors last week. I was told he had Brohitis and they xrayed him to make sure he had no colapses in him lungs. They said his looked good and gave him a breathing treatment there. They told me that he was the third baby that day with it and there were 5 the day before. They told me that he was so cheerful and happy for being so sick and it was a good thing I brought him in. The xray tech said he was amazingly coroperative. :) They sent him home with an inhaler to help him through his coughing and weezing spells. He is doing much much better now. Praise the LORD.

He was being good - I carried him downstairs this way one morning and he loved it in there so there he played for about 15 mintes with some if his toys. Of course he got really serious once I got the camera out and I didn't get a smile. I still love these pics though :) TOO CUTE!

Update: William was sick all week but seems to be on the mend today... No more runny nose, he slept much better last night and this morning and his cough is just about gone. Thank God for that. I had been praying he get better soon. Everytime he coughs it achs my heart. Poor little guy.

Yesterday would have been my Grandmother's 84th birthday.

Today is my 31st. While I was growing up we always celebrated our birthdays together since they were only a day apart. Now my birthdays are always a bittersweet day with out her. After she died my grandfather used to tell me that I was so much like my grandmother. I take comfort in that memory now. I adored my grandma, she had a special way about her that made everyone happy.

Happy Birthday Grandma - Wish we could celebrate together. In my heart we always will.

...and it is snowing in the mountains! A freezing storm arrived at 1am this morning. It is dropping a ton of snow in our local mountains. I'd love to go up there and show it to William this weekend but I know half of San Diego will be there so.... nope... we will wait.

Long Time No Post - Last of Thanksgiving

Sorry for my delay in posting. I have been super busy lately. Christmas seems to be sneaking up on my this year. Usually I have all my shopping done, the house decorated to the max and all the packages wrapped by now. Leaving only the baking to do.

That is not the case this year. I have lots of shopping to do yet, the house is not getting the full treatment of decor this year but most the packages are wrapped... so that is a strart. I still need to plan the cookie bake....hmmmm???

My little one have been keeping me extra busy this year. He is trying to crawl and has been teething. Poor little guy has been getting frusterated and upset a lot lately. He has sooo much determination though. We lay him on a blanket every night about 3 feet from the presents and tree and he manages to scoot himself on his belly to the presents - it is so cute. We are proud of him. His new acheivements excite us.

Last month we took William camping for his first time!

He was a very happy camper!

New Babies

During the end of our pregnancy we took a child birth preparation class. There were some great couples in our class and some of us have kept in touch via email. All of our babies have been born now. This weekend we went to meet some of those cute new babies. We met at a great place for parents to hang out called Java Mama... check their webpage out!

Oh how much fun it was...
Some babies were sleepy....

Others didn't want to miss a trick...

...and look at all the beautiful little faces with their happy Moms.

It was great to see all the happy parents and our teacher as well.

So many pround Mamas and Papas.

We will all have to get together again soon. The next gathering we are planning will be in the spring. The babies should be beginning to crawl by then... :)

Recently my Dad and Riechel came out to visit from the Philippines. It was their first time meeting William Walter. Boy! They were proud of him.It was nice to all be together... :)

Just was browsing through some good times last year - here is a trip we went on in May 2007.

As you can see we took our spoiled little girl Tumbleweed. She had a blast! I think we are over due for a vacation. Must plan the next one :)

Two more birthdays!

This weekend two of my favorites persons had a birthday.

First on October 18th Miss Tumbleweed turned 10! She was spoiled after singing her happy birthday in the morning, we took her to Home Depot and lots of people there pet her and told her how beautiful she was. She sniffed lots of flowers in the garden section and enjoyed walking around. Then we drove her to the mountains and took a short walk around a pumpkin patch. After that we took her to Petco to the cookie bar and bought her lots of new treats, cookies and chewies sticks. Then we came home and BBQed Bacon Wrapped Filet Minons for her birthday dinner (yes, she got some of both and two pieces of think cut bacon in her dinner bowl). I think she had a great day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TUMBLEWEED!!

Then on October 19th was my Aunt Becki's Birthday! We called her and sang to her. She had lots of visitors this weekend in Arizona. We didn't make it there this year but sent her a gift. She will be here on Friday of this week, we can't wait to see her and Uncle Rudy.

She had fun birthday weekend with her friends. She took a day off work Friday and headed out to Sedona for some relaxation. Then on her birthday her Football team (THE RAIDERS) defeated the JETS! What a game!
